Due to the advance of mobile technology it has been decided that the MiG APP no longer serves the purpose for it was once intended, and so it will be dissolved by the end of this year, 2017. Apologies to those who purchased the APP, but due to certain circumstances, it is no longer practical nor necessary to continue the time and effort to put into the APP. Please continue to check in on MiG-MUSIC.COM for everything MiG.

MiG has joined the TENORS OF ROCK at Harrah's, Las Vegas for a couple of weeks. Use this as an excuse to come to Vegas! The TENORS OF ROCK are the newest most exciting vocal group around. Formed with five of the best male rock voices in the UK. The concept was to reinvent the standard male vocal group and create a seriously high profile rock experience. The vocal range and harmonic complexity really pushes new boundaries and sets ToR apart from all other vocal groups.
So come and see MiG with the TENORS for a strictly limited engagement. Check out the TOUR page for all the details.

UNITED AS ONE for HECTOR'S HOUSE
6 April, 2017
Unfortunately, the concert GONE TOO SOON has been postponed to a further date due to factors beyond anyone's control.
Over the past weeks, a number of logistic challenges have arisen and rather than compromise on the quality of the show, the decision had been made that it would be best to postpone the show for the time being.
Computicket will be in contact with all those who have already purchased tickets to arrange a full refund.
Stay tuned to mig-music.com for the latest developments of this concert.

May I take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a very, very happy Holiday Season. It has been an amazing year, with so many trips and places to visit. I will end up flying a total of 95 flights in 2017, travelling from USA to Australia, to China, to the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, South Africa, Italy, France, Montenegro, Spain, The Caribbean, Mexico, Hong Kong, Singapore...just to name a few. I have been grateful for all the amazing adventures I've been on and relished the chance to perform to so many audiences around the world. Who knows what 2018 will bring, but I already have plans to travel to Australia, South Africa, France, Romania, and the Philippines... May 2018 be the best year yet for everyone and may it hold new chances and opportunities to expand our world and horizons. May we find the love to accept and tolerate our differences and the wisdom to celebrate them. Always love to you and yours, MiG xx
9 November, 2017 On 7 November, we lost a legend. Paul Buckmaster. He was a genius and an artist and always a true gentleman. I had the honour to have him as an arranger/conductor on my debut album recorded in 2006, and I share his talents with David Bowie, Elton John, Miles Davis, The Rolling Stones, Idina Menzel, Heart, The Goo Goo Dolls, Bon Jovi, Guns 'N' Roses and Taylor Swift, just to name a few. I will never forget meeting him. He was true ROCK N ROLL ROYALTY. Farewell Paul. Your artistry is immortal. As a tribute, I share this video from so long ago, working with the great man himself. I was blessed to have had the honour...
19 June, 2017 Greetings from Bangkok, Thailand. I'm aboard the VOYAGER OF THE SEAS, just about to set sail for Vietnam, but I felt the compulsion to pay my respects to all those who have suffered under the hands of such senseless violence, and it hits home when a lot of these places where such events took place were places I used to frequent or perform in. I performed at the Manchester Arena with WE WILL ROCK YOU in 2013, I used to live in FINSBURY PARK in London, I performed at RESORTS WORLD in Manila just last year...my point is that, these acts of violence could have happened at any time, and it's just by the grace of God that it wasn't while I was there. Those poor innocent souls who were victims of these acts of evil could have been anyone...you, me, your brother, sister, mother, daughter, son...the waste of human life and the cruelty and stupidity of this evil astounds me and saddens me. Whether it's an act of terrorism, or of pure hate or even of greed or desperation, the pointless devastation of what is left behind in its wake breaks my heart. Can we ever learn to just love, and let love, and respect everyone, despite their religion or political affiliation or the colour of their skin? Love must continue to be our goal, our unreachable star...maybe one day we will reach that star. It's worth the effort.Nothing else matters. Love. Please...
MiG & Tanya Manalang performs at Resorts World Manila in CURTAINS UP.
10 April, 2017 Today marks the 10 year anniversary of the release of my first self-titled album, through DECCA/UNIVERSAL. I never thought at that time that my dream of being a recording artist would ever come to fruition. But suddenly I found myself at Abbey Road Studios in London and Capitol Records in Los Angeles, surrounded by 60 piece orchestras, some legendary musicians, singers, producers, writers and engineers, all putting together my debut album. Due to circumstances beyond my control, the album never got the attention from the label as it deserved, and as a consequence ultimately what was once held with such anxious anticipation became somewhat of a heartbreaking experience. Having said that, I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with the talents of Matthew Wilder and Rob Mathes, who produced the album with such passion and care and always with humour and brilliance! From Peter Frampton to JR Robertson to Jason Scheff to Paul Buckmaster: The musicians, arrangers, singers were all legends and I am so blessed to have had the experience to create the work and to fulfil a dream I had since I was a child. Big tick on that box! And I have two very special people to thank as well as they championed my cause and supported me all the way: David Novik and Pamela Dunaway, without whom this dream would have been nothing more than a dream...
Have a listen to the album HERE!
5 April, 2017 It's been a crazy year already with so many tours, and so much travelling! I just got back from another cruise with ROCK RHAPSODY aboard the Celebrity Reflection, and it made me realise how much I would love to share my experiences even more. I wish I had an assistant to do all my editing, but time in my cabin has allowed me to finish some video projects. So please have a look at my video which follows my travels in Australia this January with the MUSIC OF QUEEN. It was such a wonderful experience, and I hope you can enjoy it with me:
13 February 2017 It's already half way through February, and it's only now I have the chance to sit down and write! It's been a monster year already with so much going on, including concerts at the Sydney Opera House, and Melbourne's Hamer Hall with THE MUSIC OF QUEEN. Check out the PRESS page for all the reviews and articles about that. I so loved going back to Australia to perform, especially at the iconic Sydney Opera House, and performing with full symphonic orchestras and to top it all off, it's QUEEN! I didn't have much rest after that, as I had to fly to Nagasaki, Japan to catch the QUANTUM OF THE SEAS to perform my solo headlining show for a couple of weeks. I just flew back from Sydney to New York, and am enjoying a few days R&R before my next adventure: SOUTH AFRICA! More of that soon. But for now, here's a throwback video to 20 years ago when I sang back up vocals for Gary Barlow (of TAKE THAT) on the MIDDAY SHOW. Just have to share these moments:
31 December 2016 It's New Year's Eve and I find myself about to board another flight after being in Sydney just for 24 hours. I am off to New York via Hong Kong, which will give me the longest day ever! My New Year's Eve will last 40 hours. Not that I wanted to stay in 2016, as it's been a terrible year for a lot of people. We have lost so many great icons, great people, and innocent lives through horrible wars...but personally it's been a good year for me. I cannot complain and am so grateful for all the amazing experiences, unforgettable journeys and wonderful people I have met on the way. I am so grateful to my family and friends who have supported me and been patient with me despite my continued absence. I had not planned on touring so much. Facebook says I've checked into 572 places in 2016. I think I travel a bit. May I takt this opportunity to wish you all the very best for the coming year, as we head into uncharted territory. We must remain resilient against the forces of 'hate' and show our love and compassion and humanity even more than ever. We can change the world, one good deed at a time...Love always trumps hate.
"I'll face it with a grin. I'm never giving in. On with the show!" -Freddie Mercury
24 December 2016 It's Christmas Eve, and I'm still on a boat!! I'm even scheduled to do 2 shows on Christmas Day!! So no rest for the Wicked or the MiGGY, but I'd like to take this opportunity to send you all my love and warmest wishes for the Holiday Season. Heaven knows we need a lot of love right now, so I hope we feel the love tonight all over the world. Anyways, I put this little video together to wish you all a very happy Christmas. All my love from on board the QUANTUM OF THE SEAS, in Shanghai, China.
13 December 2016 So instead of explaining how I got onto the QUANTUM OF THE SEAS in Busan, South Korea, let me just show you this video I made:
2 December 2016 Hello December! And greetings from the VOYAGER OF THE SEAS somewhere in the South Pacific Ocean. We had a brief stopover in my hometown of Sydney, Australia, and we experienced the most breathtaking sail away at sunset as we cruised out of this spectacular city. I wish we could have stayed longer, but the sunset views made leaving all worth it. I'm happy to announce that 'FILL MY CUP' is now available on Spotify! Click here to hear it now. MAGIC 89.9, K LITE 103.5 and JAM 88.3 are still accepting requests for the song which will translate into donations to the St. Rita Orphanage. I hope you can support the song and give the kids at St. Rita's a joyous Christmas this year! I'm also happy to announce that THE MUSIC OF QUEEN will be also heading to Hamer Hall in Melbourne on 21 January, 2017. Check out the TOUR page for all the details. It's all QUEEN right now as we are about to perform ROCK RHAPSODY tonight on this majestic ship. The VOYAGER is definitely going to rock tonight...I think we need a bigger boat!
23 November 2016 It’s been a very busy time since my last diary entry. I have been around the world several times over, and have been involved with many interesting projects. I was so thrilled to perform with the amazing Nicole Asensio for Shangri-la Plaza’s 25th Anniversary Celebrations, and the awesome Trinidad Band. I hope we get a chance to work together again…in fact I know we will. I am particularly proud of my association with FWD Life, with their ‘FILL MY CUP’ campaign. Now that it’s released officially, it is exclusively played on MAGIC 89.9, K LITE 103.5 and JAM 88.3. Here is the best part, for every request these stations get to play the song ‘FILL MY CUP’, P50 will be given to the wonderful kids at St. Rita Orphanage in Manila. If this is not a great way to fill your cup, I don’t know what is! Anyways, I’m at the airport again, heading back to Sydney, then tomorrow to Fiji where I will join the awesome ship VOYAGER OF THE SEAS to sing some QUEEN songs with some kick-ass singers as we sail around the South Pacific Islands. Ahhhh life…
30 September, 2016 Greetings from Okinawa, Japan. I'm just about to board the VOYAGER OF THE SEAS tomorrow and that will be my last leg of my solo show on the high seas for a little while. It's been an amazing experience this year, working on so many ships in so many ways, visiting so many countries, meeting so many wonderful people. I have had the opportunity to get creative and work on projects that I have been neglecting. One that I am proud to announce is the final episode of my WWRY World Arena Tour video blog. I started it in 2013, and the 19th and final episode is done and up!! Check it out here!
2 August, 2016 Yesterday was a momentous day as I started a new venture in co-operation with FWD Insurance, Philippines. This dynamic company has inspired me and commissioned me to write their theme song, and I am so excited with the way it is turning out. I do hope you stay tuned as things develop. Look out for it soon. I will keep you posted as we go along. It was so great to get together with my guys Junjun Regalado, JunjunJimenez Perez, Ardie de Guzman, along with Marvin Querido and Angelo (Angie) Rozul at OnQ Music Studios. This is going to be an amazing project…I hope you can join me!!
